Mr. Lin changes his job several times, from the large state-owned enterprises to the township enterprises, then change from the private enterprises to self-employed. In 1991, he resigned from Xi'an state-owned enterprises and came to Guangdong. One decade later, he became independent entrepreneur and established the company “Sanyo elevator (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd.” in Pingsha, Zhuhai.

Giving up decent job from the state-owned enterprises

Mr. Lin graduated from Xi'an University of technology. After graduated, he was assigned to be a factory director assistant in Xi’an Elevator Company by the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee Organization. His subject is automation, the elevator industry perfectly match his major, he ardently elevator. Even through the Provincial Party Committee Organization promote him to other position, but he refused.

In 1991, Mr. Lin was participated in a national seminar of elevator which organized by Guangdong Panyu Elevator Factory. He chats with the chief engineer: "Please find a job for me in Guangdong." After that the chief engineer recommended him to the Panyu elevator factory bosses privately. The boss appreciated Mr. Lin. It happened so suddenly, Mr. Lin did not fully prepare to work in a strange place. The Boss of Panyu elevator factory said that Guangdong is an ideal place for business.

In Mr. Lin’s mind, he would rather pursue his dream than live an ordinary life in Xi'an every day. He cited an example to reporters: in Xi'an, if your friend bought a motorcycle, I would borrow it just for fun; in Guangdong, if others around me bought a motorcycle, I would also want one. May be I would want a car. He emphasize the working atmosphere is completely different. Finally, he resigned from the Xi'an elevator factory and came to Guangdong with his wife.

Planing to expand the factory in Pingsha, Zhuhai

He put heart in elevator business for more than 10 years in Guangdong Province. In 2006, Mr. Lin established his own company with several friends in Pingsha, which named “Sanyo elevator (Zhuhai) Co., ltd.”

At the beginning of his elevator entrepreneurship, there are couples problems have been facing. With the development of Zhuhai, the elevator business grows fast.

In recent, Mr. Lin plans to expand his factory due to the real estate development. The elevator experiment tower of his factory can be regarded as a landmark building of Pingsha town. Especially in the evening, it shines with the bright lights in the sky. Hence, Mr. Lin declare that they are going to build a 200m high elevator experiment tower for testing the high-speed elevator, the elevator speed reaching 10m/s. The original elevator experiment tower can become a science base for the students to advertise the elevator comment knowledge.
